Age, health, smoking, lifestyle/occupational risks, driving history, and coverage amount/term length.

Do I need a medical exam?

Often not—many carriers offer “no-exam” or accelerated underwriting based on health questions and data.

How fast can I get approved?

Same day to a few weeks, depending on underwriting and medical records.

Who can be my beneficiary?

Any person(s), trust, or organization. You can name multiple and set percentages.

Are payouts taxable?

Death benefits, dividends, and borrowing from a cash value policy are generally income-tax-free.

Can I borrow from my policy?

From cash-value policies (whole/IUL), yes.
